Do I have to change my address with my bank and everyone else?

No, not if you don’t want to. Royal Mail in the UK and Correos in Spain both offer a redirection service that sends post for your current address on to another one. Point it at your Hola Post address and your bank, pension and utilities keep writing to the old address while the letters come to us.

I’m moving. Can my post follow me while I sort things out?

Yes. Set up a redirection in your name with Royal Mail or Correos to your Hola Post address for as many months as you need. We scan everything that arrives until you’ve updated your details and are ready to stop.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes, at any time. If post arrives while you’re paused, we still receive it, tell you it’s here and scan it. To see it, either pay for the months it arrived in, or pay €3 per letter. For example, if you pause from January to November and letters arrive in May and August, you pay for May and August, or €3 for each letter.

Can I use your address as my company’s registered office?

Yes. In the UK you can use our address as your registered office with Companies House and as a director’s service address. In Spain you can use it as your domicilio social and domicilio fiscal. We check identity documents before activation, as the anti-money-laundering rules require.

How quickly are letters scanned?

Post that arrives before 2pm is opened, scanned and in your portal the same working day. You get an email or push notification when it’s ready.

Do you open every letter?

By default we scan the envelope first and you choose whether we open it. You can switch to “open and scan everything” at any time, and that is what most businesses do.

What are Spanish digital notifications?

Spanish public bodies (AEAT, Seguridad Social, DGT, your Ayuntamiento) increasingly send official notices electronically rather than on paper, through the DEHú and their own sede electrónica. Companies are legally required to receive them this way. With your authorisation we collect them and put them in your inbox next to your post.

What happens if I don’t open a Spanish notification?

Under Spanish law (Ley 39/2015, art. 43) an electronic notification counts as delivered and rejected after 10 calendar days, even if nobody opened it, and deadlines start running. We check for new notifications every working day so this doesn’t happen.

Can I have originals forwarded?

Yes. Request forwarding for any letter from your portal and we’ll post it to any address in Europe at cost, or batch everything into one monthly envelope.

Do you accept parcels?

Small parcels and packages, yes. We photograph them, tell you they’re here and hold them for collection or forwarding.

Where is my data stored?

Scans are encrypted and stored in the EU. Paper originals are filed securely for 30 days, then confidentially shredded unless you ask us to keep or forward them. We operate under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.

Can my accountant or gestor see my post?

Yes. Invite them to your account and choose exactly which senders or categories they can see.

No. Plans are monthly and you can cancel at any time. If you leave, we forward any remaining post for 30 days.

Moving house or going away: Set up a redirection in your name for as many months as you need. We scan everything that arrives until you’ve updated your details or come home.
Or use our address directly: Give your Hola Post address to anyone who writes to you, including Companies House, Hacienda and your bank. Businesses can use it as their registered office.
Spanish notifications need no redirection: Digital notifications are collected online for your NIF, NIE or CIF, wherever your post goes.
